Apparently some marauders would keep their victims' heads and/or eat their hearts; in the feasting, hoping to ingest the courage and integrity of their former foes.

Perhaps this habit of past cultures could explain the popularity of PAS/PA theories among alleged abusers and their supporters. Perhaps supporters of pro-pedophilia theories hope to gain understanding into the ethics of the majority population- by committing soul-murder of the mother and especially, the children.

Or maybe I am just searching for an explanation of the incomprehensible and reprehensible actions that accompany the use of these PAS/PA theories. I refer, this time, to the "case" of A.G.L. v.K.B.D..

It is certainly an effective way to stop all decent human beings from reporting child sexual abuse- especially mothers who are going to, are or have been in a divorce situation with the alleged abuser. I know I stopped. Never did I or will I ever again report suspected or witnessed child sexual abuse. Because I know the victims will be sent to live with their rapist.What is the point of reporting and trying to protect one's children, if one is not believed and treated as a criminal ? And the children sent in custody of their abuser ?

A Sappho Moment

It occurs to me that all the child murders and often,their mothers' murders , are the natural un natural result of messed up pas etc. arguments used in courts-and these mothers did not accept the twisted logic that obliges them -and the children- to have contact with the father.So, certain fathers-especially the ones that seek custody- on realizing that even court orders cannot force the mother to submit to his continued and often escalated abuse- kill the children- the ultimate control/power move. Really- the courts and psychologists and youth protection /social worker types should be proud that their -ideas are bearing fruit. One could logically argue that all these killings are the natural result of previous un natural proceedings.
And , of course- a bunch of suicides. To say nothing of the myriad effects and untold misery experienced by protective mothers and their hurt children.

On Paternity Leave

I've never considered the argument for men having leave upon the birth of their children. It sounds practical though. I'm sure they're excited about the birth--perhaps even tired from hours of labor support and newborn adventures. And it's always nice to have some helping hands around.

But what purpose do men serve at home, if moms are

cooking and cleaning
nursing or weaning
rocking and changing
washing,
rearranging

burping and feeding
humming and reading
scrubbing and rubbing
kissing
hugging?


The wear and tear on women's bodies is unmatched. A woman's body brings forth life. It is the greatest sacrifice for which there is no comparison. Upon birth, a mother's job has not just begun, but rather it is a continuation of the care she provided to her body before and during pregnancy.

Should men have extended paternity leave, or leave comparable to that of women?

Surely, if he is "similarly situated."

A LIE IN OUR NATION

There is a lie in our nation
Called Parental Alienation
Where the horror of abuse
Is denied as a ruse
The truth is revealed
But the abuse is concealed
The distortion of reality
Is accepted by authority
The victims outcry
But the abuser has an alibi
The tables get turned
Like a witch to be burned
The abuser has rights
And the power and the might
To treat the children as chattel
As if they were cattle
A Protective Parent is jailed and reviled
While the villain rejoices alone with the child
Terror reigns supreme
Protection is now only a dream
A heartbroken parent and a child in despair
Must now count the days until the world becomes aware
